This policy explains what personal data West Delhi Properties collects through this website and the Floor Advisor, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

West Delhi Properties (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates westdelhiproperty.com (the “Site”) and the Floor Advisor chat on it. We are a real-estate brokerage based in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. For the personal data you share with us, we act as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to help you buy or sell a property:

  • Details you give us: your name, mobile or WhatsApp number, and anything you tell us in our forms or the Floor Advisor chat, such as preferred colonies, budget, size, timeline, and, for owners, property details like colony, block, plot size, floor and expected price.
  • Conversations: messages you exchange with the Floor Advisor, and messages or calls with our team.
  • Technical data: standard logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used to run and secure the Site.

The Site's fonts and files are served from our own hosting, not from third-party font or analytics services.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on this Site. We never ask for bank details, card numbers, OTPs, Aadhaar or other identity numbers through the Site or the Floor Advisor.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you matching floors or a price range on WhatsApp or phone.
  • To arrange and accompany site visits.
  • To keep a record of which properties we introduced to you, and when, so that introductions and brokerage can be verified.
  • To improve our listings and service.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

4. Your consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or share details in the chat, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as complying with law. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling us. Withdrawal does not affect anything we did before it, and we may keep records we are legally required to keep.

5. Floor Advisor and AI

The Floor Advisor is an automated assistant. When you type a question, the text of your question and recent chat messages may be sent to our AI service provider to generate a reply. The name and phone number you give the Floor Advisor are not sent to the AI provider; they are saved with your enquiry so our team can contact you. The provider processes messages only to provide that service to us. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat. AI replies can be incomplete or wrong, so confirm anything important with our team.

6. Who we share it with

  • Property owners or buyers, only to the extent needed for a deal you are pursuing, for example sharing a buyer's name with an owner before a visit you've agreed to.
  • Service providers who help us run the Site and respond to you, such as our website host and form provider, our AI service provider, and WhatsApp, for messages you choose to send there.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, where needed for a transaction.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Where your data is stored

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards and comply with any restrictions notified under the DPDP Act.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are helping you and generally for up to 24 months after our last contact, so that past introductions can be verified. Records of completed transactions are kept for as long as the law requires, for example for tax purposes. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

  • give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
  • stop processing it by withdrawing consent;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

10. Security

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections to the Site and limited access within our team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

The Site links to services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Grievance Officer

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
